Phase II of a recruitment company office refurbishment has completed with the works finishing ahead of schedule. The prestigeous city centre location has been significantly expanded to cater for an increasing headcount. Originally the office was divided into desk space for 40 consultants and three meeting rooms.
Phase II of a recruitment company office refurbishment has completed with the works finishing ahead of schedule. The prestigious city centre location has been significantly expanded to cater for an increasing headcount. Originally the office was divided into desk space for 40 consultants and three meeting rooms.
The newly expanded office now has space for 100 consultants, 9 client-facing meeting rooms and 3 internal meeting rooms. The overall office refurbishment cost of £240,000 equates to £27 per square foot (£285 per square metre) including additional furniture.

The fit-out in this multi-tenanted building was a mix of working hours and out-of-hours to achieve the expansion and refurbishment whilst staff were able to maintain business continuity. The refurb scheme also had the objective of raising the perceived quality of the office interior. Better quality furniture and finishes have been added along with a flexible suite of conference rooms with modular meeting furniture.
The flexible conference rooms can be used in several different sets of table groups or cleared altogether for seminar eating format. The folding meeting tables can be easily moved away and the rooms used for events. Sliding folding partition walls allow rooms to be converted from smaller to larger spaces in a number of steps.
The flexible furniture was matched by folding joinery servery shelves beneath the flat screen TVs. These provide a surface for teas and coffees, or laptops, whilst folding flat when not needed.
Space planning for the flexible conference rooms included a room to store stacking chairs and folding tables.
The open plan office area makes use of our sliding whiteboard system. Whiteboards are mounted on sliding tracks surrounding the desk zone.
