A recent project for Fusion included an office assessment survey. The new HQ space, over 30,000 sq ft, was analysed from the services and fit-out standpoint, test-fit space plans, and the proposed Lease was evaluated against occupation requirements. The survey revealed several aspects where the building wasn’t as well refurbished as initial appearances suggested, but the rent reflected these and the Heads of Terms were generally fair.
However one seemingly minor miscalculation by the Landlord was spotted by Fusion. Saving £2500 every year, for the entire 10 year lease duration, amounted to a saving of £25K.
