Open Plan office furniture

The open plan areas are divided into three departments, each with a distinct colour accent used on the seat-cushions for the wide pedestals. Keeping all the other finishes uniform, and just keeping accent colours to the cushions, will help if the office furniture gets moved around. Frosted acrylic screens give subtle definition to the workstations without crowding the desks or making them feel too enclosed.

Accent colours were taken from the company logo and contrast happily with the blue carpet and monochrome desks. The spot-colour has been used in blocks with enough presence to define each space but not overpower relatively small open office plan zones.

Two areas are also fitted with booth style meeting pods. These soft-seating office pods add a convenience aspect to the spaces without adding fully partitioned rooms. The Cwtch booth is a beautiful curved design that works well in the higher-traffic entrance area, providing a sheltered collaboration space without interrupting the flow of the office.

The senior managers office furniture is a mix of cool white and warm wood. A glass meeting table adds to the contemporary, high quality, style of the managers furniture.

The office design is a balance of colour and contemporary, good quality, office furniture. None of the spaces are blessed with expanse or high ceilings making it important that the furniture and glass offices don’t crowd the interior. This 30-person fit out achieves a balance between effective and efficient use of space without seeming too crowded.
