Sliding Track Whiteboards, Virginia USA
The latest North American installation for our sliding track whiteboard system has been completed in Reston, Virginia, for Intermarkets a publishing and marketing organisation. These sliding track whiteboards are used in two locations. One group is used on the perimeter of an informal working space to make a large whiteboard expanse or to bring a single panel front and centre.
The other group are used as a screen divider or sliding whiteboard door to seperate a circulation space from a working zone. For both groups the sliding whiteboard panels are full height solid magnetic dry-wipe boards mounted on triple tracks so that all the sliding track whiteboards can nest behind each other. The whiteboard doors can be opened to reveal the working zone when not in use, ensuring workers can easily see if the space is free. Unlike sliding-folding walls, our sliding track system moves without effort encouraging workers to slide the panels rather than making it a chore.
Fusion have supplied our sliding track whiteboards to most regions of the US including NY and Chicago. The system is easy to install requiring no alterations to ceilings or floors in most instances. As the weight of the whiteboards rests on the floor track there are no structural implications and the installation can be during a fit-out or as a retro-fit. Floor tracks are very low profile, either the same thickness as carpet or with radiused edges to avoid being a trip hazard.
